a tool similar to what the magic selection tool that adobe has, where it can select the outlines of a solid color or empty space without you having to select it all yourself

It seems great to be able to paint everything faster within the line.
When I do my lineart, I create a layer below the lineart and paint, behind the layer, with gray, but when it comes time to erase the gray parts outside the lineart, it's annoying, because it takes a long time and sometimes it even erases the inside of the lineart and I have to keep coloring it all the time. The Magic Wand Tool would make these situations easier.

For many workflows (coloring line art, cleaning up line art, etc.) having the ability to select-by-color and then work inside that selection is invaluable. A magic wand would be a really great enhancement.

sniffaloo!!! :3
Greetings. For easier selection (and colouring) instead of having to manually use the lasso tool to select every little bit, it would be beneficial, and less time-consuming if a magic wand tool existed. I know that a clipping layer exists, but the magic wand could serve as an alternative for those who are more comfortable with it. Thank you for your time.

This is a tool where you can select an area inside or outside lineart without filling in the area.

I think we definitely need this!!
For now, if you color outside the lines, you can do this: Go to the fill tool. Set it to "above" and "erase". Then click outside the lines, maybe a few times to get all of it. This should at the very least help, and you can play around with the tolerance and stuff to suit your style. I hope this helps!
